Morts About 20 years ago I was listening to a lot of The Cure, New Order, Jesus Jones and Curve (among many others) and was playing around with .mod files (anyone else remember those?) on my 286 running DOS 5. For some unexplainable reason the feeling and atmosphere in this recording kinda takes me back to that time... but that's entirely personal to me, I guess.
Experimental dreampop with breathy, almost ethereal vocals. Not always my cuppa tea, but in this case it works a treat! Favorite track: True Luv.

Frank F. Kay packed with 5 electronic driven, dark'ish dream-pop jewels plus the incredible "wait". the ep is a grower.... more than that.... it's a perfect combination of carol's sweet voice, her "breathy" singing and electronic soundscapes. "jolene" is my favourite song on the ep. it's a wonderful and perfect combination of electronic sounds and dreamy pop music. Favorite track: Jolene.
